Base annual salary range: $75,000-$85,000,commensurate with skills and experience

Position requires working 2 days weekly onsite in the Charlotte, NC office.

JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Software Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for development of test cases, implementation/execution of test plans and test cases, bug tracking, integration testing, and Automated regression testing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Develops and writes detail-oriented testing scripts and plans to verify that programs function as expected according to both technical and user requirements.
• Evaluates and executes testing procedures to ensure that new or modified software programs function as expected and meet established quality standards.
• Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows.
• Isolates, reproduces, tracks defects, and verifies defect fixes.
• Documents testing according to required procedures.
• Effectively communicates with IT Leadership, Dev and BA and teams.
• Facilitating UAT testing with close collaboration with Business
• Effectively works with peers, team members, and other departments.
• Keeps technically current on related software and technology.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certifications:BS Computer Science/MIS/ Information Technology/Computer Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience Required: 2 or more years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA): The position requires the following:

• Knowledge of various Quality Assurance methodologies
• Experience testing complex web applications.
• Experience with Test Case Development, working with BRDs.
• Knowledge of the Agile SDLC
• API Testing Experience (Postman/Insomnia)

• Basic SQL Knowledge is preferred (Microsoft SQL Server)
• Experience with JIRA is preferred.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript/HTML is preferred.

The position also requires troubleshooting skills; the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing; ability to effectively work with limited supervision and to work collaboratively in a team environment while being self-motivated; demonstrated ability to quickly produce clearly written, well-organized documentation; superior analytical and time management skills; ability to take the initiative in development and completion of projects.
